Munsel Lake
Munsel Lake, near Florence, Oregon, is a popular recreational spot known for fishing (trout, bass, perch) and boating, with a history tied to local management and habitat restoration, including coho salmon enhancement programs by ODFW, with volunteers adding spawning gravel around 2000. Geologically interesting, its sediment record reveals past seismic events, while its natural setting is valued for public access with amenities like boat ramps and restrooms.
