Ona Beach, Brian Booth State Park Boat Launch, and Beaver Creek Kayak Launch
Beaver Creek, located near Ona Beach in Oregon, has a rich history tied to the area's natural resources and indigenous peoples. The land was gradually acquired for public use from 1938 to 2010, and it is now part of Brian Booth State Park. This area was historically inhabited by the Alsi Indians, who were part of the coastal and riverine tribes. There’s one launch by Hwy 101 and the other one up Beaver Creek Road, which requires carrying kayaks a short distance to a dock entry launch. Traveling these upstream waters promises plenty of wildlife, especially during the early mornings. If one follows the water current one can paddle all the way to the Pacific Ocean.
