Welcome to Florence Oregon Area Kayakers, a community born on Facebook in July 2015. We have grown, paddle stroke by paddle stroke, into a thriving flotilla of more than 1,700 members.

 

What started as a handful of locals sharing launch tips, tide information, and wind conditions has become a decade-strong gathering of people who believe the best conversations happen on the water, preferably with herons along the shoreline and eagles overhead.

 

This website is for local paddlers who know the sloughs like old friends and for new and visiting adventurers ready to dip a bow into Florence Oregon Area water wonderlands.
